You have arrived at the official website of the Route 55 Jazz Orchestra, under the directorship of the founder, Dave Reitmeyer.
R55 began in 2007 when Dave thought a big band would be a fun and valuable project that could take advantage of the newly constructed Holly Springs Cultural Center. The center’s director said, “Sure! Let’s try it!” and the rest is history.
Since then, Dave has been leading the band from the piano performing at least four concerts at the center each season (Sep-May), plus opening the Holly Springs Farmers Market annually and sometimes on other occasions.
Season tickets are available, and all ticket sales are now handled via the Center’s online system.
